OK, so I have to lose a lot of weight. When I first started my journey I was 292 lbs now I’m 267 so that’s 25 lbs lost. I want to get to 199 lbs by summer then 150 lbs by 2013. I moisturize, drink tons of water and my skin is thick and elastic yet I’m still deathly afraid of getting loose skin. I talked to my doctor and he said that my age play the biggest role in the loose skin department and he says the odds are in my favor but I still can’t shake the thought. My dad suggested that I wear compression garments after I lose the weight and my skin should tighten up…….I guess I’m just being paranoid.
My mom said it might depend on the length of time I’ve been obese *gulp*. I’ve obese for about 4 years and overweight for about 8 years but I’ve always had a relatively flat stomach even when I weighed 180 lbs even now my fat is evenly distributed throughout my body. I really hope I don’t have the sagging skin, I’m only 19 and that would be DEVASTATING to lose 140 lbs and then I still can’t wear a bikini. ugh, it makes me wanna cry.
I’ve been doing more weight training and muscle building/conditioning exercises so that should help also. Well all I can do is hope and pray I don’t get it and wait to see what happens but in the meantime…….I’M GOING CRAZY!!
